History

2006-07: The USHL player of the year and CCM USHL Forward of the Year, Phil DeSimone showed vast improvement over his three seasons with Sioux City of the USHL.  Going from a relative unknown to one of the USHL's leading scorers in 2006-07, DeSimone averaged more than a point per game with 73 points in 60 games. He served as team captain in the 2006-07 season.

2007-08: As a freshman at New Hampshire, De Simone recorded 13 points (3+10). He scored a goal in the NCAA Tournament vs. Notre Dame.

Talent Analysis

 DeSimone is a speedy forward who has the skills to impress and leadership abilities both on and off the ice.  He will need to work on his two-way game to become an NHL-ready player, but has all the tools for it
