History
Leblanc was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the seventh round of the 2006 NHL Draft.
2004-05: In the first of his two seasons spent playing for the Hamilton Red Wings of the OPJHL Leblanc impressed many with 36 points (14 goals, 22 assists) in 49 games. He was named the leagues rookie of the year and established himself as a very solid prospect.
2005-06: Leblanc started the 2005-06 season right where he left off tallying 16 points in his first 12 games. Unfortunately, Leblanc’s season was put on hold when he came down with a bad case of mono, forcing him to miss half the season. He ended up playing in only 22 games, recording 22 points (10 goals, 12 assists). He was also named to the CJAHL All-Star Game.
