History
2007-08: Played for Catholic Memorial High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Selected in the 7th round, 83rd overall in the 2007 USHL Futures Draft by the Omaha Lancers.
2008-09: Played his first season in the USHL with the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders. Named to the USHL’s Eastern Division All-Star Team.
Talent Analysis
Has a good base under and is one of the stronger forwards in the league. A feverishly hard worker both on and off the ice. Goes into the corners and works hard on the forecheck. Can take a hit and deal them out. Very persistent at both ends of the ice. Just a good two-way player who will do what is asked. You always know what you’re going to get him, effort wise.
