History
2006-07: In his second season in Plymouth, Terry finished with 66 points in 68 games, scoring 22 times and adding 44 assists. Terry also produced in the postseason, finishing with eight goals and 18 assists in 20 games.
Terry (and teammate and fellow 2007 Hurricanes draft pick Brett Bellemore) are two in a long line of Whalers to join the Hurricanes organization. Both teams are owned by Peter Karmanos Jr.
2007-08: Terry had a career-year, leading Plymouth in goals (44), assists (57) and points (101), and second in penalty minutes (107) and plus/minus (plus-12).
Talent Analysis
His future as a pro is probably more tied to being an all-around player who can contribute at both ends of the ice rather than an elite goal scorer. Still, it’s encouraging that a player chosen in the fifth round can post a 100-point season in the OHL.
