History
In the fifth round the Panthers selected Brian Foster, their second goaltender of the draft, 161st overall. Foster, a teammate of the Panthers previous pick in the draft, Matt Duffy, he helped to lead the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs to the league championship last season.
2006-07: Began play at University of New Hampshire, behind Kevin Regan (BOS).
2007-08: Foster started and played in six games as a sophomore for the UNH Wildcats. He posted a 3.06 goals-against average and a .899 save percentage.
